Express Entry is a completely electronic process involving the federal government, provincial governments, and Canadian employers. Express Entry is not an immigration program in itself, but rather a system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to select candidates for immigration to Canada using the following economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Class (formerly the Federal Skilled Worker Program), Federal Skilled Trades Class (formerly the Federal Skilled Trades Program), Canadian Experience Class, a portion of the Provincial Nominee Programs.
Among other factors, candidates are assessed based on Age, Education(Canadian and/or Overseas), Language Proficiency ( English and/or French), Work experience( Canadian work experience and overseas work experience), Spouse or Common-law’s( Education, language Proficiency and Canadain work experience), Skill Transferability factors, Arranged employment, Sibling in Canada and Provincial Nomination.
